Okupa

The Project

Okupa is a design-led hotel in central Athens built around three very different spaces — a ground-floor kitchen and listening bar lined with records, a set of calm, warmly lit guest rooms, and a rooftop pool that looks out across the city to the Acropolis.

The brief was to capture all of it as one place with one personality, while doing justice to how completely the character shifts across a day. We photographed the property from morning light on the roof through golden hour in the dining room and on into the evening, when the bar fills up and the DJ takes over.

Alongside the interiors we shot food and drink as it came off the pass, lifestyle frames with guests in the rooms and at the poolside, and the exterior and signage after dark — giving the hotel a full library to draw on across its website, booking platforms, and social channels.
